there are big changes coming to our 2023 workshop!
For 23 years, we've begun Write About Jesus on Thursday evening and ended on Saturday evening with dinner. But this year, we're getting an earlier start, with checkin in around 1 p.m., and the first classes starting at 2:30. Our closing session and awards will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, and we'll finish at noon. This will provide time to get everything out of the church and allow time for their team to prepare the building for Sunday.
Though we don't have all the details worked out, we're hoping to have the competition going on throughout the weekend. And we are also planning to add another class to the already full schedule! One huge advantage of this schedule change is that nearly everyone will be able to get back to their home church for Sunday morning without missing any of the workshop.
